When collaborating on a community project, which of the Web 2.0 services do you rely on most? I am taking recommendations for a neighborhood revitalization project I am working on and am stumped. Ning is out — it’s not focused enough. Facebook will probably be used later for more outreach / promotion. I’m leaning toward Word Press, but are there any downsides to this option?

As a new homeowner, my new year’s resolution for 2010 is to not buy anymore DAP products. They smell bad, and many have known toxins.

The revolution is coming. Is your back against the wall?

Of course, it is a question of who’s revolution it is — So far, it doesn’t look like it’s ours. And by ours, I mean the revolution for all who love real democracy, real freedom and hope for the best humanity — and even the U.S. — has to offer. These values, and others related, will be the subject of this humble blog. Because, if we can’t stop the atrocities hastened by our “leaders” — the selfish corporate swine that they are — than we at least can write about it and keep each other enraged, hopefully with an eye toward taking action and calling in the winds of change.
